This special little charm was born from a heartfelt collaboration between two mums who know all too well the emotional rollercoaster of parenting teens. Our founder, Alice Rivers Cripps, teamed up with the brilliant Gemma Ogston—founder of MamaShrooms and a passionate voice for youth mental health—to create something meaningful, and personal.
After connecting on the Show Us Your Bits podcast, Alice and Gemma found themselves deep in conversation about the very real challenges facing teenagers today. With youth mental health close to both their hearts, the idea for a charity charm began to develop—something fun that could help spark change.
To make it extra special, Gemma brought her teenage daughter, Carmen, into the Posh Totty Designs workshop. Together, they helped design and mould the original jeweller's wax for the charm before it was cast in silver.

YoungMinds is a UK-based mental health charity dedicated to ensuring that no young person feels alone with their mental health. Their mission is to make sure all young people receive the mental health support they need, when they need it, no matter what.
Gemma Ogston is a Brighton-based plant-based chef, author, and founder of Mama Shrooms, a brand offering functional mushroom supplements aimed at simplifying wellness routines. She has authored two cookbooks focusing on healing plant-based recipes and previously worked as an addiction counselor, experiences that have shaped her holistic approach to health and nutrition.
